Self Defense & Personal Safety

sdps
Self Defense and Personal Safety is a program utilizing R.A.D (Rape Aggression Defense) system curriculum.  RAD is a nationally recognized personal safety and self defense organization which has been promoting increased safety measures and basic self defense techniques for all participants.

What will This Program Teach Me?

All classes are taught by experienced, nationally certified RAD safety instructors.  Participants will be able to better avoid potentially harmful situations, better identify and reduce risk for yourself and the community, and will have an increased knowledge of how to handle potentially harmful situations with basic self defense tactics.

What activities will I do in this class?

In addition to learning about reducing your risk for assault, as a participant in the Self Defense and Personal Safety program you will have the opportunity to participate in many physical activities. These activities and movements include frequent kicking and bare fisted punching of bags and aggressors, running, direction changes, kneeling, twisting, and bending over.  Moves on the ground will be included such as aggressor take-downs, ground kicks, choking simulations, and attacker ground defense moves.

Full scholarships are now available!
