Party Safe, Party Smart!

What is Club 21?

Club 21 is a program sponsored by University Recreation and ADCAPS (Alcohol & Drug Counseling, Assessment, and Prevention Services). The program has been developed to encourage and remind students turning 21 to celebrate responsibly and encourage a healthy leisure lifestyle.

How do I join Club 21?

Just by turning 21. Currently enrolled WSU students will be sent a birthday card on or around their 21st birthday. Those turning 21 are eligible to pick up a birthday packet at the Student Recreation Center, containing a Nalgene water bottle and a UREC fitness class punch card.

Apple of the Day

To stay safe while working with chemicals in a fume hood, try these simple tips; 1) use the fume hood when handling volatile or highly toxic chemicals, 2) select the proper exhaust speed setting for your work, 3) place a mark on the front of the fume hood where the sash is raised to 18 inches, 4) never put you head in the hood, & 5) no extension cords or powerstrips should be present in the hood.
