Stress is a part of everyone's lives and can negatively affect our wellbeing more than we realize. Ongoing distress (negative stressors) can cause depressed mood, extreme fatigue, heighten susceptibility to disease & illness, as well as increase self-medicating behaviors such as drug & alcohol use, and adversely affect eating and dietary behaviors, among other similar physiological and psychological symptoms.  

There are many ways that one can manage stress such as exercise, stress management techniques, counseling and time out for recreational activities. Decrease Stress, Increase Resiliency
The workshop debunks 6 myths of stress and proposes quick, simple changes you can make to de-stress and increase your resiliency. 

Relaxation and Stress Reduction Workshop
Ongoing, elevated stress levels can affect you in many negative ways. With this workshop you will learn practical relaxation techniques to reduce your stress, increase your awareness when your stress levels rise.

Relaxation and Wellness 
The Relaxation and Wellness workshop provides a space to learn and practice how to relax. The workshop offers experiential relaxation exercises that you can do at home to de-stress and improve your overall health.

Apple of the Day

Help keep our stormwater and surface waters clean by not releasing harmful materials into catch basins.  You can help by applying fertilizers and pesticides in moderation according to label instructions, and don't over-watering lawns and landscaping.
